Roy Remer presents, as part of the Zen Caregiving Project, a seminar for caregivers. Professional caregivers regularly witness and support people who are grieving. More recently they may be doing this more than usual while coping with their own losses. In this session, Remer will explore how to use mindfulness and compassion to meet the experience of grief, and ways to process grief-related emotions in an accepting and non-judgemental way. This session will support you as a caregiver and provide ways to support the people you care for.
We will share practical exercises to use in your daily life to build your emotional resilience and increase your sense of wellbeing. There will be an opportunity for Q&A at the end of the session. No mindfulness experience necessary! Continuing Education (CE) credits available.
