In the past, mineral development has been hindered by NIMBY attitudes by the general public in some areas, while in other areas, the general public supports such mineral development and that benefits the area and the U,S, in general, which even some exporting excess products, which helps to balance foreign trade.
Uranium is one of the favorite targets of adversaries looking for something to oppose. Once they learned of the true value of uranium, and nuclear power in general, their support would go a long way to improving conditions in the U.S., especially for the middle and lower income families.
