Source Exploration Corp. is exploring the Las Minas project, located about 270 kilometers east of Mexico City. The project can be accessed through a paved highway, with hydro-electric power and water on-site. Las Minas is comprised of six mineral concessions covering about 1,616 hectares in the historic Las Minas mining district, which is host to one of the largest underexplored gold-silver and copper skarn systems known in Mexico.

Mineralization at Las Minas and its association with magnetite are similar to the deposits at the GoldcorpLos Filos and Torex Gold Morelos, where mineralization sits in zones along the contact between the overlying limestone and the deeper intrusive rocks. The Santa Cruz zone was first drilled in 2011, with discovery hole LM-11-SC-45 returning 20.0 metres grading 8.22 g per t gold, 7.40 g per t silver and 1.29% copper or 10.33 g per t gold equivalent, including a 10.0 meter interval assaying 15.89 g per t gold, 12.98 g per t silver and 2.25% copper or 19.56 g per t gold equivalent. Recent drilling of the Santa Cruz zone intersected wide zones of high... grade gold- silver-copper mineralization. Hole LM-14-SC -08 intercepted 99.0 meters grading 1.64 g per t gold, 7.63 g per t Ag and 1.05% copper or 2.70 gold equivalent, including a 9.6 meter interval grading 10.60 g/t gold, 48.47 g per t silver and 7.44% copper (24.11 gold equivalent).

Source Exploration Las Minas project in Veracruz, Mexico, can be accessed via a paved highway, with hydro-electric power and water on-site. The recent drill programs and geophysical data provide evidence that the six mineralized zones could be a part of a much larger system within its 1,616 hectares land package. Mineralization and association with magnetite at Las Minas appear to be similar to parts of the Guerrero Gold belt which hosts Torex Gold massive 6 million gold oz equivalent deposit. Brian Robertson, CEO Source Exploration, said that they are highly encouraged by the results so far.
