European Geologist Journal call for articles on sustainable land use ... How geology can contribute ... The Editor-in-Chief of European Geologist invites you to submit article proposals for issue 41 of the Journal. Please send your article proposal (name of the author(s), title of the article and a short abstract of about 10 lines) by 15 January 2016 to staff and layout editor Anita Stein. The Editorial Board of EGJ will decide about the acceptance of the articles and selected articles shall be submitted in their full version by 15 March 2016. The articles will be peer reviewed and also reviewed by a native English speaker. You may find the guidelines for authors at http://eurogeologists.eu/journal/.
An EFG KINDRA hydrogeology workshop will be held in Sevilla, Spain, 5 February 2016:
The hydrogeology workshop to be held in November 2015 in Brussels had to be postponed due to the maximum security alert level in Brussels. As a matter of consequence, the program will be reduced to a one-day orientation workshop for KINDRA national experts.
EAGE - EFG Photo Contest Calendar 2016 Geoscientists at work. This desk calendar includes the top-12 pictures of the 2015 photo contest. The calendar features some amazing images including a volcano, the desert, a geyser and other special geological structures. All photos were taken by EAGE and EFG members.
