Australian Uranium Exports Set for India, UAE, etc.?

Foreign Minister Julie Bishop says exports to India for use in its power plants could start immediately following the signing of the Australia-India Nuclear Cooperation Agreement administrative arrangements. The government has also finalized an agreement with the UAE to supply uranium for its developing nuclear power program. The two agreements set out strict conditions for the peaceful use, safeguarding and security of Australian uranium, Ms. Bishop said in a statement on Wednesday.
