Developing Standard Space Elevator Terminology

The second space elevator study by the International Academy of Astronautics has kicked off and is working with the International Space Elevator Consortium and the Japanese Space Elevator Association in developing a common terminology for space elevator terms. The first draft of the common terminology is shown herein. The Academy is developing, as a first step in the study, a Space Elevator Missions Definition Document with acronyms and terminology as baseline items.
