Resource thumbnail A Mariana Resources partner has developed a 3D model of the Hot Maden project in Turkey that indicates the high-grade copper-gold mineralization remains open up and down dip. The animation incorporates all the data gleaned thus far from the 10,000 metre drill program being carried out by local partner Lidya, including results from holes 12 to 14, which are yet to be released to the market. Chief executive Glen Parsons said that he was pleased to highlight the new 3D animated mineralization model for Hot Maden depicting the gold-copper body, the continuous high grade core and the surrounding zinc halo. The model will be updated as drilling proceeds but it is already indicating not only the resource potential but also guiding the search for extensions. With assays pending and mineralization being open in several directions, the ability to expand this model is apparent and he looks forward to further updates. The last lot of drill results from Hot Maden was typical of what has been found to date at Hot Maden in the west of the country. Holes 10 and 11 yielded intercepts of 100.2 metres at 5.6 grams per tonne of gold plus 1.3% copper from around 82 metres below surface and 107.7 metres at 4.2 grams gold and 0.9% copper from 255 metres. Within both there were high-grade sections including 42 metres at 11.7 grams gold and 2.2% copper and 14.2 metres at 27 grams of gold and 0.94% copper. Decent grades of zinc mineralization were also uncovered. Emerging also is evidence of a north-south corridor of higher grade copper and gold.
