The Conference will be held at the Townsville (Queensland, Australia) Entertainment and Convention Centre from Sunday Afternoon, the 18th, to noon on Wednesday, the 21st of August. The Conference is not about how to mine or where we mine, it is all about the improvement of health and safety in the mining industry. With a record number of over 820 people in attendance in 2012, this Conference is one of the largest health and safety conferences in the southern hemisphere.
Last year a record 65 organisations took the opportunity to display their products and services and it is anticipated this number will increase this year. The Conference Committee has developed a program that presents the latest information on current issues from around Australia and overseas, with time for you to interact with the presenters and to share knowledge and experiences.
