Over the last few years, the CIM Standing Committee on Mineral Reserve and Mineral Resource Definitions has updated all of the CIM definitions referenced by National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects. Proposed changes to the definitions reflect requests for clarification and guidance from industry, the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) and international organizations. The CIM Standing Committee on Mineral Reserve and Mineral Resource Definitions has now undertaken a 90-day period of consultation with industry and CIM members; it will run from May 5 2013 until August 2 2013.
