The Four Mile uranium deposit represents a recent mineral exploration success and furthering knowledge of its geological context will aid the development of regional mineral exploration models. The deposit is located 550 km north of Adelaide and 10 km west of the Beverley uranium mine in the northern Flinders Ranges‚ Lake Frome Plains region. The sandstone-hosted mineralisation occurs as two distinct zones (Four Mile East and Four Mile West) and the total inferred resource is 9.8 Mt at 0.33% U3O8 with an estimated contained commodity of 32 000 t U3O8.
