The WBD currently consists of 21 separate projects, each with its own interface and feature set. These projects cover a total of 25,493 unique taxa, plus an additional 4,149 synonyms. All projects (except the cranefly database) were generated using the Web Publisher facility of ETI's Linnaeus II software.
