USGS Assessment of Select Shale Gas Resources

Using a geology-based assessment methodology, the USGS has completed assessments of the quantity of undiscovered, technically recoverable petroleum resources in several important shales, including the Barnett, Antrim, Bakken, and other shales in the United States.
