Kazakhstan is one of the biggest pieces of the story. Daniel highlights the delay of Kazatomprom’s new sulfuric-acid plant as a potential supply constraint, while also pointing to expectations for a new utility contracting cycle after years of weak contracting activity. On top of that, reported BHP interest around NextGen Energy’s Rook I project is bringing the M&A narrative back into uranium stocks — exactly the kind of momentum catalyst that can move this sector quickly.
