Generation Atomic is safeguarding your energy and climate future by championing the cause for nuclear.
At Generation Atomic, they envision a world where atomic energy is broadly used for the benefit of all people and the planet. Alyssa Hayes, Policy Leader, says:
"Generation Atomic is the paragon of grassroots nuclear advocacy organizations. We enable anyone with a passion for advocacy to make an impact. After years of discovering best practices, Gen A’s leaders equip new volunteers with:
(1) the research skills to identify impactful actions we can take and
(2) the communication skills to change the minds of the public and our elected leaders. We use our expansive international network of experts and allies to strategize coordinated efforts to pass pro-nuclear legislation.”
“GenA has helped to save multiple NPPs severely at risk of premature decommission, lift moratoria in multiple states, pass legislation that fosters a more nuclear-friendly economic landscape, and authorize state funding for studies on the use of advanced nuclear power. And finally, we’ve done it all while maintaining a healthy and inclusive work environment internally. I love volunteering with Generation Atomic and I wouldn’t have had nearly the same success in my own advocacy efforts without this incredible team.”
