The I2M Editor notes with sadness the passing of Robert Heater (page 70). He played a critical role in the NWWA Research Facility located at the time at Rice University as NWWA was emerging and transforming into a recognized center of excellence in water well technology and acquired Water Well Journal and the Journal Ground Water through the efforts of Dr. Jay H. Lehr (who also has recently died) and Michael D. Campbell, who just published his memoirs (more), and see:
