During 2014, the Company acquired 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of Pinon Ridge Mining LLC ("PRM"), a Delaware limited liability company. The transaction constituted a reverse takeover of Homeland by PRM. After obtaining appropriate shareholder approvals, the Company subsequently reconstituted its Board of Directors and senior management team and changed its name to Western Uranium Corporation. At the 2018 Annual General Meeting in acknowledgement of the increasing importance of its vanadium resources, Western's shareholders approved a corporate name change to Western Uranium & Vanadium Corp. that was implemented in October 2018.
Its principal business activity is the acquisition and development of uranium and vanadium resource properties located in the western region of the United States of America.
